What about slip dresses? This one over here is actually a slip dress...Yess I took it out from one of my dresses. I just love the color. And why not to experiment a little bit? I know they may not be for everyone. But despite fear factor, with slip dress you can walk that fine line between elegant and casual. I usually tend to style them with simple white t-shirt.
